Computed Tomography (CT) is a test that combines x-rays and computer scans. The result is a detailed picture that can show problems with soft tissues (such as the lining of your sinuses), organs (such as kidneys or lungs), and bones.

The Radiology department at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital has the most current and latest CT technology to enable the delivery of safe, timely, efficient, and patient-centered CT imaging to trauma, emergency, in-patients, and outpatients. The department has two state-of-the-art GE VCT 64 detector CT scanners which are operated by highly-skilled technologists.
