I am a New Jersey native, but I have called San Francisco home for the past 10 years and now raise my kids here in the city. I have known for most of my life that I wanted to work in community activism and social justice, so working in the Department of Public Health was a natural fit after medical school. I feel privileged to get to be a primary care provider for many amazing patients while also getting to work on more system-level changes in healthcare delivery so that our clinic can provide all services a family might need in a patient-friendly way. I believe that all members of our community deserve high quality health care at our center and that part of our job is to work with the community to end the social and economic disparities that drive health inequalities.
I have played soccer for the past 34 years, including on several teams as a kid where I was the only female player. I met my husband while playing on the same team together.
